Our specialist staff at the Bigwood Stratford upon Avon office are actively involved in the management of many thousands of acres of rural and semi-rural land over a wide geograhical area, concentrated on the Midland counties. Our Clients' properties include diverse portfolios, from estates with let farms, cottages, houses, commercial operations, sporting lettings, woodland and leisure uses, to bare farmland.

All require active day to day management, including the collection of rents, maintaining the employee payroll, carrying out of rent reviews, preparing and implementing repair and improvement budgets, quicly effecting new lettings and maintaining a watching brief on our clients' properties. At the same time we are constantly monitoring changing planning and rural policies, so that development, or change of use opportunities to optimise the return from our clients' valuable land assets are fully exploited.

Taxation planning, in conjunction with the client's solicitors and accountants, also forms an important part of our input. This ensures that transfer to the next generation, or the sale of assets now, is effected to keep the tax burden as low as possible, by using available reliefs to best effect.

Our clients include families and their associated trusts as well as individuals and companies with long term land holdings.
